ABOUT MONTAGU, SOUTH AFRICA: Montagu lies at the confluence of the Keisie and Kingma rivers, 180km from Cape Town. Montagu was originally called Agter Cogman's Kloof and was later named for the former secretary of the Cape Colony, John Montagu. Today, it is known for its hot mineral springs, its many houses dating back to the early 1850's, and its general scenic beauty.
