The 3 Palms is a real find for businessmen: 24 hour wireless high speed internet, telephone, fax access - you name it. The best though is not being stuck in a little hotel room. You have not only your own en-suite bedroom, but also a living room and kitchen at your disposal, and a beautiful garden with a heated pool to relax and work. Also it's ideally located for meetings in Cape Town and close to the airport.

Besides this it is also very very nice. I loved it.

I absolutely loved my stay at 3 Palms! - Gert made it feel like it was my home away from home straight away. His hospitality was exemplary - warm, hospitable and ensuring that i was settled in and happy. The property is beautiful and spacious, catering for winter nights with a beautiful fireplace as well as warm, snug comforters for snuggling on the coach watching TV. The garden has a fabulous heated pool, which i will definitely be back to try out in summer! I also have to mention their two gorgeous dogs - Lucy and Woody, who welcome you in, and give a personal escorted tour to the cottage. I truly had a fabulous stay!

War schon zum 3. Mal bei Gert und wie immer sehr zufrieden. Ansprechende location gepaart mit Familienanschluss... :-)
die Zimmer sind gross und gut ausgestattet, Safe ist vorhanden.
Schöner Garten mit pool, Nähe zum Bloubergstrand und den entsprechenden Restaurants/Kneipen.
300 Zeichen sind ganz schön viel, habe eigentlich alles beschrieben...
Ach ja: Kapstadt ist sowieso die schönste Stadt der Welt :-)))

unser aufenthalt in kapstadt war unter anderem nur deshalb so bemerkenswert schön, weil wir nach einem langen tag immer wieder in unser cottage am blaubergstrand zurück kehren konnten. wir haben beide zimmer gebucht und fühlten uns wie gott in frankreich. zum empfang gab es champagner und auf dem tisch standen rosen als kleiner willkommensgruss. der kühlschrank war für das erste frühstück gefüllt und kaffee und tee war immer vorhanden. die lage war optimal: wir waren in 15-20 min in der city und abends auch wieder zurück. in blauberg slebst hatten wir die auswahl zwischen mehreren top restaurants, falls wir einmal nicht selbst gekocht haben. die küche war top eingerichtet. auch wenn wir nur ein zimmer genutzt haben, waren doch beide zimmer und natürlich auch das wohnzimmer sehr gross und sehr schön eingerichtet. es fehlte an nichts, von den 3 fernsehern (auch wenn wir sie selten benutzt haben) bis zum internet anschluss. geschlafen haben wir wie gott in frankreich; bei der ruhe in diesem teil von blauberg kein wunder. sauberkeit war immer gewährleistet. gert, unser vermieter leistete einen service, wie er wohl nirgendwo besser sein könnte. er war da wenn man ihn brauchte und gab hervorragende insidertips über restaurants, routen usw. preisleisungsverhältnis top, vor allem, wenn man die preise von namibia "genossen" hat. zum abschluss noch ein wort zur vermeintlichen kriminalität in kapstadt:
Wenn man sich entsprechend verhaelt und sich ein wenig informiert wo man hingeht, dann fuehlt man sich - und ist wohl auch - genauso sicher wie in Deutschland. Zumindest war das unser Eindruck.

We took our 14 month old little boy to stay here for 10 nights, and what a find it turned out to be. From booking the trip 6 months prior to flying Gert & Antoinette could not be more helpful arranging things for our little one and generally giving advice. The Accomodation is very spacious and well equipped and would suit any style of traveller, it only took hours for it to feel like home. Stop searching and book up you wont be disappointed.

Idyllic Cottage

What a luxuriously idyllic cottage, perfect for either a fantastic tranquil holiday or a peaceful venue for a business stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Your hosts are the most welcoming friendly helpful people with your comfort and happiness at heart. Every time I have been to 3 Palms I have had a superb stay, and even been invited and given the opportunity to join in their very hospitable fun gatherings. The beautiful beach is very close, or you can sunbathe and swim in the sparkly pool, right outside your patio doors.

Home from home

Our stay at the 3 Palms was just what we needed, great hosts and location!! I was with my two children aged 20 and 18 visiting family, and we thoroughly enjoyed the space and hospitality of Gert and Antoinette. Our week long stay was far too short, it felt like we owned the place. Great location for the beach, shopping and entertainment. We certainly will be back as I dont think we could find another place quite like this. Thanks to Gert Antoinette and Zarah for making us feel most welcome. See you again!

Beautiful place with amazing hosts

We stayed at the 3 Palms at the end of November and it was amazing. We had the whole cottage to ourselves. The rooms are gorgeous - spacious and very comfortable with lovely decor. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating whilst still respecting our privacy. Gert is extremely knowledgeable and gave us some great tips on where to go for the rest of our trip. A perfect base from which to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas. Great for couples. We'll definitely be back.

Fab place and fab area
My family and myself had an absolute fab time at the 3 Palms. Great hospitality and a beautiful cottage, ideal for the 4 of us. The assistant - and sometimes nanny for our children - Nikki is a star and Gert and Antoinette are the most enthusiastic and helpful hosts you can imagine. The location in Bloubergstrand - superb beach, great surfing and not crowded at all (unlike for example Camps Bay on a hot summers day) - is very central and you have easy access to Cape Town and the Winelands. Mind you the nightlife in Blouberg is also pretty good. Also the 3 Palms is real value for money. I searched the web long prior to our holiday and don't think you find any better priced luxury accommodation in Bloubergstrand.
I will be back at the 3 Palms, no doubt!!!!

Just had the most wonderful time staying at the 3 Palms luxury cottage with friends this Christmas. A beautiful cottage with 2 large en-suite bedrooms and great lounge and kitchen area - perfect for self catering. There is a tranquil garden and pool shared with the best hosts, Gert, Antoinette and Zarah and only 10 mins walk from the beach. Will definately be planning to stay again.

Best family holiday ever

We had the most beautiful 2 week family holiday over xmas at the 3 Palms Luxury Cottage. Not only is the place fantastic, tranquil and just brilliant, but we also enjoyed the hospitality of Gert and Antoinette. They made us feel at home and invited us to their braais and brought us even to their local pub for a xmas drink and celebration. Our 2 kids lived in the heated pool and played all day in the garden and made great friends with their daughter Zarah and due to the help of their nanny Niikki we had a couple of memorable evenings to ourselfs. We will be back, and hopefully very very soon.

I really enjoyed my stay at the 3 Palms. It's a beautiful place within a beautiful area of Cape Town. Breakfast is amazing and the tranquillity of the place is just what I needed. You can basically rent out a whole house with 2 beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms and a very spacious living room and open plan kitchen, absolutely lovely. Also Gert and Antoinette are the perfect hosts and assist you with whatever you ask for and they even take you out to the local pub if that is what you are looking for.

I will be back early next year and that won't be the last time either, most likely. Overall, 5 stars I would say :-)
