Sedgefield lies in the heart of the garden route and borders the Wilderness National Park, Swartvlei Lagoon, the Goukama Nature Reserve and endless beautiful beaches. It is a wonderful area to visit and has so much to offer the whole family. It is a perfect base for canoeing, sailing, cycling, hiking, golfing, hang gliding, kite boarding, and bird watching and has its own selection of beautiful beaches to explore.

Sedgefield has its own delightfully quaint restaurants and shops in walking distance and the towns of Knysna, George and Plettenberg Bay and the Tsitsikamma and Knysna Forests are all close by.

The famous Farmers Market on the Island is also right on your door step every Saturday morning - for your breakfast and shopping for the local fresh produce and delicacies. There s also a craft market next door. The house is within 30 minutes drive from George Airport, linking you directly to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Bloemfontein Airports.

Montage Village is a secure complex and ‘40 Montage’ is situated overlooking the complex’s own bird sanctuary were birdlife is plentiful. The views from the house extend over the sanctuary towards the forested dunes and Outeniqua Mountains. Nearly every evening you are spoilt with a magnificent sunset from the patio.

The house itself has 4 bedrooms and comfortable sleeps 7 – 8 people. The main bedroom upstairs has an en-suite full bathroom, a king size bed, a mini kitchenette allowing you to make your own morning tea, a TV and a balcony overlooking the bird sanctuary. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs and a full bathroom. The first bedroom has a king size bed and opens onto the patio, the next bedroom has 2 single beds and opens onto the garden and the third bedroom has a double futon bed. All linen and bath towels are supplied but please bring your own beach towels.

It has an open plan living area opening onto the patio. There is a fireplace for chilly winter evenings and a TV with DVD player and DStv (please bring your own card).
The kitchen is fully equipped including a stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and the garage has a washing machine, dryer, a bar fridge and a weber braai/BBQ.

This comfortable home in its secure central position allows for a relaxed, carefree holiday for the whole family.
