A View on Hollywood offers 4 private rooms set away from the main house. Each spacious room has a magnificent view of the Johannesburg metropolis. Relaxed and comfortable stay ensured by wireless internet connection, television, honesty bar fridge and hostess tray. The en-suite bathrooms are well planned, with instant hot water, soft bath sheets and most frequently asked-for toiletries.

We offer a generous buffet breakfast, that includes a full English as well as a Health breakfast. Dinners will be supplied on request at an additional fee, alternatively we have a number of fast food outlets and a good family restaurant within walking distance.
ATM, chemists/drugstores, Doctors and Dentists are less that 1km from our gate.

Easy access off the N1 motorway (Gordon Road) makes this convenient for business or leisure. Visitors to Wits, or University of Johannesburg are most welcome. Cresta Shopping centre on Beyers Naude, The Johannesburg Eye Hospital, Flora Clinic, the Cradle of Mankind, Lanseria Airport, Nasrec show grounds and conference centre are all in close proximity. The hustle and bustle of Melville, with all the entertainment and vibey restaurants, is just down the hill. Park and rides to the 2010 stadiums, and most sporting events are close by, while the opening stadium to the 2010 World cup is visible from our pool deck. New Year and Duvali offers a spectacular fireworks display, not to be missed.

Situated on top of the Northcliff hill in Hollywood drive - hence the name - we have 4
residential stars, namely Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Charlie Chaplin and our most recent addition, Annastatia Kabane - our very own South African star, named after our dearly loved housekeeper and friend.

Guest privacy is important and the rooms offer just that, however, the pool deck and gym are communal areas, along with the gardens, which offer prolific bird life. Do not forget to bring the binoculars. Lounging on the rolling lawns surrounded by endemic rock and a huge open sky, while watching the city play at your feet, can only be experienced at A VIEW ON HOLLYWOOD.
