The property houses the owners accommodation (a 4 bed roomed house), an extremely popular family restaurant and Abbey's Place - the subject apartment. The apartment is safe and secure and includes a single garage with remote control leading into its secluded courtyard with direct access into the dining room. It is fully equipped and has a full DSTV bouquet, with all the local and international sport, entertainment, news, documentary and movie channels. Two cosy bedrooms each sleeping 2 persons, lounge, dining room, open plan kitchen and full bathroom make up the apartment. A second north facing courtyard brings the morning sun flowing into the majority of the accommodation. There is a pull out sleeper couch in the lounge, allowing for a further 2 occupants (Maximum allowed in apartment is 6) Abbey's Place is centrally situated, being minutes away from the Somerset Mall and the centre of town. We are 15 minutes from Cape Town Airport and Stellenbosch. A 5 minute drive gets you to Strand beach and a number of golf courses including Erinvale, Somerset West and Strand, De Zalze and Stellenbosch 10 minutes away and Pearl Valley and Boschenmeer a further 20 Minutes away. Additional attractions in the area include whale watching in Hermanus, a half hours drive away and hiking in the Helderberg nature reserve right above Somerset West. Finally it will be a mere 35 minute drive to Table Mountain, the Cape Town Waterfront and Green Point Stadium, where all the Cape Town 2010 World Cup matches will be held.
