Well known Country Estate situated in the Heart of the Sunday's River Valley and just a few Minutes drive from the Addo Elephant National Park. The world famous Addo Elephant National Park, founded originally to protect the elephants of Addo, has now become a "Big Five" game park and the premier tourist attraction of South Africa's Eastern Cape.

Here visitors from all over the world come to get up close and personal with the game in a malaria-free environment. Others also enjoy the bird life, not to mention the flightless dung beetle which is unique to this small area.

The estate is an oasis of luxury accommodation for the visitor who wishes to stay in comfort and eat well while enjoying the time in the area. We offer a great home away from home stay with excellent hospitality in luxury and standard rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms, almost needless to say, are both air conditioned for comfort in the hot summers and have en suite shower bathrooms. All our accommodation is elegantly furnished and decorated and a variety of art works adds that extra touch of colour and interest. Some of our larger suites are additionally furnished with period lounge suites for those who prefer to relax in privacy rather than make us of our several lounges.

Addo Elephant Country Estate can presently offer thirty three bedrooms each of which can sleep two people. Some of the rooms have double beds and some have twin beds - the choice is yours. Additionally, there is a family suite of two bedrooms, each sleeping two persons, and an en suite shower bathroom.

In addition, Addo Elephant Country Estate can host conferences of up to 80 delegates and 200 delegates in two conference venues. An overhead projector is available and catering can also be provided. We have a large à la carte restaurant for our guests and visitors where wholesome meals will satisfy the keenest appetite, as well as a cosy bar where guests can enjoy a drink before their meal or to celebrate the end of a full day.
