Africa Lodge offers convenient 4-star Somerset West accommodation. It is located in Helderberg, a very popular region of Somerset West.

Situated in the heart of the Winelands at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain, the beautiful setting of Africa Lodge offers you comfortable and stylish accommodation. The swimming pool and large garden are absolutely private. Secure off-road parking space is available.

ACCOMMODATION:
All our rooms are African styled and have a thatched roof. They are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, mini safe, hairdryer and TV. A refrigerator is available on request. The full continental breakfast (gluten free on request) can be enjoyed either alfresco or in the breakfast room. Your hosts will be happy to arrange all your bookings (restaurant, tours etc.)

We have 4 en-suite cottages with veranda and direct access to the lush garden. Our Honeymoon/family room (60 m2) with en-suite bathroom has an own terrace (30 m2) and separate access.

ACTIVITIES:
Surrounded by many famous wine estates, Somerset West is the ideal base for exploring the entire Cape Peninsula: Cape Town with its V&A Waterfront, the Table Mountain or the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Robben Island, The Cape of Good Hope or the penguins in Simon’s Town are other favourite Hot Spots. The wine estates of Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek offer great wine tastings. All that plus several golf courses, the scenic beaches of Strand, Gordon’s Bay and the Garden and Whale routes are within easy reach. Golfing, Mountain biking, riding, fly fishing, Wave riding, Shark diving, hiking, abseiling: exciting things to do for the sporty guest.
