Agama Tented Camp, Namaqualand's newest bush camp experience, lies in the heart of an 8 000 ha farm, 20 km north from Garies, in the centre of the floral kingdom. Agama Tented Camp is a bush camp, a breakaway, skilfully hidden in a secluded “kloof”. It does not intrude into the world of the wild, it is part of it.

Here up to 14 guests at a time can relax, unwind and totally enjoy the refreshing experience of becoming part of the bush, with a variety of small game and Gemsbuck, while enjoying sundowners as the kaleidoscope of day gives way to the blackness of night and stars, only a touch away.

In winter nothing beats gathering around a roaring fire in a traditional 'kookskerm' (cooking shelter) to socialize, enjoy drinks and discuss experiences of the day. In summer lesser fires simply add to the atmosphere, enhancing the beauty of the veld at night and somehow bringing the stars of the pristine heavens that little bit closer.
