Incorrect cottage located to us. No 6 instead of 7 as booked. Walls very thin. Received call first night for complaint about noisy TV. Got woken up at 5 am every morning after by next door guests. Walls not sound proof.

Ek sal enige tyd Anvil Stud Cottages aanbeveel vir enige iemand wat goeie en luukse verblyf soek by die pragtige Vallei van 1000 Heuwels, die eienaars is baie vriendlik en behulpsaam en alle Covid-19-voorsorgmaatreëls is gevolg, daar is ook baie om te doen in die omgewing en binne kort ry-afstand van meeste restaurante en malls af, regtig uitstekende verblyfopsie.

Uitstekende ligging, baie stil area, naby alles in Hillcrest, baie groot kamer en uitstekende fasiliteite.

Ek sal beslis weer daar gaan oorbly.

Our stay was characterised by the friendliness of our hosts, beautiful and peaceful surroundings and access to the lovely town of Hillcrest.

A most enjoyable sojourn made more enjoyable by the very good restaurants and coffee shops in Hillcrest.

I ended up by staying much longer than originally anticipated and met with great help and arrangements. Would highly recommend Anvil Cottages.

Very peaceful, off the beaten track but close enough to everything if you drive.

I like the aspect of paying per person and not for the unit. Friendly environment, gentle dogs, owners not in your face.

We could not fault anything! Everything was perfect and attention is paid to the smallest detail. It was as if we were the first visitors to occupy the cottage. Lovely gardens, view and friendly staff and dogs! We hope to be back there in August!

I really enjoyed my stay and I was so amazed by the view and the atmosphere when I arrived.

Anvil Stud is absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay, it was so peaceful and relaxing. And the owners were to welcoming and friendly. And the cottages are so homely and warm and you just feel so comfortable, it's like your home away from home and I shall definitely be returning soon. Die verblyf was ongelooflik lekker en ons het tuis gevoel.

Daar word baie aandag gegee aan klein dingetjies soos beskuit, warm sjokolade en self vars melk in die yskas. Selfs die wynglase is van goeie gehalte wat jou nog meer tuis laat voel. Goeie beddegoed word gebruik en selfs elektriese kombers vir koue aande. Ons sal beslis weer daar tuisgaan en ander mense aanbeveel.

Would like to live there forever.

The only problem I saw: with four people it is a bit cramped as 2 sleep in the lounge. So I would only advise families or people who know each other well to stay there if the group is made up of more than 2. The beds are comfortable, the pillows smelt divine and hygienic. Next time: top room, here we come!

Dot en haar span gaan uit hulle pad om dit aangenaam te maak. Hoogs aan te bevele.

Dit was sommer lekker om daar te bly. Die algemene standaard is baie hoog en ons sal beslis weer daar bespreek.

Perfekte rusplek!

Die rustigheid, netheid, ligging en honde is perfek!

Ons het heerlik gebly in die ruim kothuis op die lowergroen landskap.

Pragtige kothuis is baie ruim en voorsien aan alle behoeftes. Dit word daagliks skoongemaak en die beskuithouers word opgevul! Eienares, Dot, is baie gaaf en haar honde té dierbaar vir woorde. Ons het daagliks van daar na Kearsney College gery vir sport, lekker na genoeg geleë. Dis baie mooi en groen, die kleinhoewe word baie goed na omgesien. Dis baie veilig en vreedsaam op Anvil Stud Farm. Ek beveel dit hoog aan.

Just three little complaints.

No milk for tea/coffee, we had to go and buy, luckily we were going out for dinner so this was not an extra trip. The double bed in the master bedroom nearest the window was slightly lopsided, my husband kept on having to move up or he would roll off the bed. Pillows not very comfortable.

Fantastiese plek.

Lieflike plek, mense vriendelik, lief die hond daar. Dankie aan LekkeSlaap, reëlings 10/10, geen probleme met inboek of niks nie. Sal altyd weer LekkeSlaap gebruik.

Anvil Stud kothuis het ons 'n heerlike basis verskaf terwyl ons 'n hokkie kampioenskap bygewoon het.

Daar is verskeie restaurante in die omgewing, maar die kothuis is so toegerus dat jy gemaklik vir jou self kan sorg - ons het een aand heerlik gebraai en die wonderlik kalmte van die omgewing geniet. Die veraf roep van 'n visarend was 'n welkome bonus!

Baie netjies en skoon en baie spesiaal.

Fantasties, met besondere aandag aan spesiale dingetjies soos om ligte aan te skakel as jy laat kom. Eenheid was baie skoon en die ontvangs gul.

Ons het heerlik gebly.

Die beddens het almal donsduvets en elektriese komberse wat heerlik warm was. Hulle is baie naby aan heerlike restaurante en Kearsney College waar my seun deelgeneem het aan 'n hokkietoernooi.

Pragtig, rustig en 'n huis weg van huis.

Anvil was 'n belewenis. Baie vriendelike ontvangs. Rustige atmosfeer. Klein goed wat 'n verskil gemaak het. Dit het gevoel soos ons huis, weg van ons huis af. Baie netjies en skoon. Sal enige tyd weer daar gaan bly as ek in die omgewing is. Kan dit met 'n ope gemoed aanbeveel.

A wonderful stay!

The area and view is just beautiful and the flat is very clean and comfortable. It's close to the highway and there is much to do in the Hillcrest area. We will definitely go back again.
