Augusta Bay has everything you need to enjoy a great golfing getaway or just a plain old-fashioned relaxing holiday. Guests have a choice of 8 luxuriously appointed, tastefully furnished suites with spectacular views. All suites have en-suite bathrooms, some with spa baths, all with rain head showers and under floor heating. The suites have satellite televisions, mini-bars, tea/coffee making facilities, safes, ceiling fans, with three of the suites having air-conditioning. The beds are of the finest quality with down feather pillows and comforters. Guest’s comfort and relaxation is our priority.

We’d like you to relax… to dissolve away your stress and enjoy the surroundings of Augusta Bay. Wake up to a scrumptious English or Continental breakfast served in the sun-splashed central atrium, which looks out over the lagoon. Allow yourself time to soak up the sun and savour the perfect views from the swimming pool deck. For those guests who would like a little peace and quite relax in our cozy lounge while enjoying a good book. For the more social, enjoy a drink at our bar while getting to know some of the other guests or gaze out over the lagoon and if the conditions are right watch dolphins frolicking or perhaps whales swimming lazily through the Heads.

The scenic and charming seaside town of Knysna is well known for its superb golf courses, fresh oysters, enormous forests and local arts and crafts. Augusta Bay offers you the opportunity to experience a host of fun activities in and around the charming town. Guided lagoon fishing excursions can be arranged, or for the more daring there are deep-sea charters with local captains. Other engaging experiences in the area include a cruise on the John Benn Ferry, Featherbed Nature Reserve.

If sunning yourself on the warm sands is what relaxation means to you there are many immaculate beaches to choose from. Shoppers are bound to appreciate the boutiques, décor shops, hand-crafted furniture, art galleries and craft markets in the near by village center. Within a short drive you’ll find other attraction.
