Benguela is situated on the point in south Elands Bay. It is spacious and cool with views of the sea and mountain. Close to the beach,it sleeps up to 8 people. There is a swimming pool which in this climate, is a bonus in summer.

Your own bedding is required, although we supply sheets, spare pillows and blankets should you need them. The master bedroom is upstairs: it has a double bed, en-suite bathroom and balcony. Two single beds are situated next to the stairwell and two single beds are on the far end of the living area. The living room has great views and access to the balcony. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed with shower and toilet next door.

Bear in mind the place is a holiday house and very basic.

The Surf Shack is a budget accommodation option located right next to Benguela. It has a bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The Surf Shack has a galley kitchen with a fridge, freezer, stove and oven. There is a braai in front and the swimming pool is shared with Benguela.

Elands Bay is a haven for wildlife and over 240 species of birds to be found in the greater Velorenvlei area. Flowers are also a must-see as spring approaches. The area has a rich history and seems preserved in another era making it a remedy for city life. There is plenty to see, eat and do in the area.
