This little gem is uniquely formed and situated within the heavenly Free-state. It will grab the attention of each and every guest with its raw natural scenery, special design, wild adventures and exquisite peace.

Here, all guests are seen as family, and are welcomed with true South African farm scenery and facilities - with just a dash of a texas ranch's character - providing for all individuals who want to live the country way, and leave behind the rushed, extravagant life, for a more rural scene.

The Bokpoort accommodation consists of cosy self-catering chalets, dormitories and camping sites. All chalets are equipt with en-suite bathrooms, wood burning fireplaces and kitchenettes. Each boasts its own unique, down-to-earth character.

The dormitories are a fun-filled, budget option - which can accommodate up to 16 people. There are two rooms - each equipped with 8 beds. A communal kitchen is available and consists of a fridge, kettle, gas plates and a large inviting braai area. Please note, your own bedding, cutlery & crockery must be supplied. This form of accomodation is ideal for school groups or adventures seekers. The Dorm is privy to incredible views, simple comforts and unparalleled beauty, stretching for 350 hectares.

Then, last but not least, imagine sleeping underneath an exquisite array of glittering stars - for a true camping experiences in nature. Up to 40 people can camp on the Bokpoort premises. There are 10 electricity points/4 people per point, and 10 stands without electricity. Communal ablutation blocks (bathrooms), are available.

Although Bokpoort does provide breakfast - lunches and dinners must be arranged prior to arrival. Food is served in a buffet style, and enjoyed in a down-to-earth communal setting.

Guests have the freedom of choosing adventure, choosing to get away from it all, or choosing to have a convenient family social scene. Relax at the Bokpoort bar or just chill out on your "stoep" - with the incrediblely breathtaking serenity of the scenery, and the unrivalled landscape views.
