Brockwell Homestead is an elegant ‘home-from-home’ bed and breakfast, nestled in the leafy calm of Cowies Hill, part of the Westville area in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

This sprawling homestead offers a sanctuary to the business or leisure traveller who needs to be close to everything; yet wants to close off from it all at the end of the day.
If it is comfort, relaxation and home-style hospitality you are after, Brockwell Homestead is the place for you.
Brockwell Homestead was one of the original farmhouses on the farm known as Steilhoogte (steep heights) and is set in a lovely lush garden which is frequented by a wide variety of bird life.
Cowies Hill is ideally located higher up on the slopes where one can enjoy cooler temperatures and escape the humidity of coastal Durban, yet still be in close proximity to Durban, beaches, the airport as well as the business centres of Westville and Pinetown.
We are easily reached from the arterial roads of the M13,M19 and N3, and close to hospitals (Entabeni and Westville) and the campus for University of KwaZulu Natal. There are many delightful tourist attractions a short drive away, including the nearby Valley of 1000 Hills.

Brockwell Homestead is a member of the Durban West Community Tourism Association.
