Kloof is an upmarket suburb, with its own shopping centre. The name Kloof is the result of the gorge which is the focus of the Krantzview Nature Reserve and provides wonderful views from many of the suburbs residences. There are several sporting venues in the vicinity, including the Kloof Country Club, Cotswold Downs Golf Estate, and Shongweni Equestrian Centre. The 1000 Hills Experience tour routes, which includes the Valley of 1000 Hills, start in Kloof.

Take N3 to Pinetown/Pietermaritzburg, then take M13 to Pinetown/New Germany. Follow M13 and take Exit 26 Gillitts/Everton Road. At the robots turn RIGHT into Everton Road - follow for 600m.
