Tokai is a very quiet neighbourhood - although we have shopping centres very close by - approx 4km - the area is situated so that the rural atmosphere is upheld. Shopping centres close by are the Blue Route and Steenberg. A farm market is held every Saturday at Porter School in the Tokai forest, offering organic vegetables, cheeses, bakery goods, fresh karoo lamb and seafood as well as casual, friendly atmosphere and breakfast specials. Mountain bike trails in Tokai are well known and used, hiking trails are literally on your doorstep. Tokai is a friendly, safe neighbourhood which offers activities for young and old.
