The charming four star guest house, De Oude Huys Kombuys, is nestled against the gentle foothills across the Magaliesberg mountains, close to the Hartbeespoortdam in North West Province and is the place to stay. Set in the tranquil suburb of Meerhof, it is one of only a few graded establishments on this side of the dam.

Eugene and Minda Groenewald has taken great care in transforming this six-bedroom cottage manor into a tranquil hideaway. Each one of the De Oude Huys Kombuys' six exquisitely decorated, climate controlled bedrooms welcomes guests to the cool serenity of freshly picked flowers, beautifully bed linen and comfortable mattresses.

Our venue offers workshop, team building, conference, function and meeting facilities for groups of up to 30 delegates and we can adjust to meet any requirement.

We can also cater for a small wedding and our rooms are often used for honeymoon or romantic breakaways.

Many attractions are in close proximity Peacanwood golf course, birding, boating, fishing, jet ski, canoeing, running the Old Mutual Om die Dam, to name but a few.

For entertainment, Sun City, Lost City, Chameleon village and Oppidam are within a 1 hour drive. There are various day spas close by including Mangwanani and Vusulela, and the Margaret Roberts herb farm is only 20 mins away.
