TravelGround User Reviews:

Peaceful, clean and comfortable and in excellent location - highly recommend.
Stayed in the Spiral Cottage for 9 nights. Was great. Suited our family with 2 kids perfectly. Everything available to make our own food, but great food within walking distance. Very pretty and tranquil settings. Were very comfortable there and will go again. Colette and Glenn were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place. Glenn was responsive and unobtrusive. The place was clean, quiet, very reasonable. Perfect for those in love or someone wanting to get away from it all. Has all the basic necessities, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Overall...LOVED the place and will definitely be staying there again! Soon hopefully!

My wife and I stayed for a week in Spiral Cottage last month, with two more friends from the UK joining us for the weekend, and it was an amazing experience. The cottage is constructed splendidly, with warm timber everywhere and loads of natural light. The setting is stunning, with dramatic mountain peaks all around (with clouds swirling around them when we were there) and then ocean views out front.

The cottage has an amazing skylight over the bed, so you can star-gaze from it. And we loved waking up there so much, to a beautiful view of the mountainside, and tropical birds perched on the fern outside the window!

Amazing powerful shower, really comfy beds.

Glenn the owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. He built the cottages himself after living on the plot of land for years, so knew exactly how to craft them to make the best of the landscape and sun, and you can tell how much care has gone into them.

The place is also brilliantly situated for getting easily into Cape Town central, as well as Simonstown and the Cape of Good Hope. We had a hire car and got around really easily. Plus some great restaurants nearby (Monkey Valley Resort was our favourite) and Noordhoek village has a great deli.

I'm aware this review sounds like the owners wrote it themselves, but we genuinely couldn't recommend the place more highly! We've been raving about it to all our friends and family.

"Excellent Stay. Our stay at Ekogaia Farm Cottages was really exactly what we needed. The Cottages were very well kept and the surrounding area was totally surreal. Close to the beach and the mall. Glenn, the owner, was very helpful and friendly."‎
