Gulu is well known for its beautiful spring, summer and autumn fishing experiences from the banks of the Gulu River or from Gulu Beach. Winter is always a reason for much excitement and celebration, Gulu owns a private cellar for the wine enthusiast. It can be enjoyed in our cosy Bar, or in our warmly decorated choice of 8 En-Suite Rooms. From the edge of the Gulu river bank, which runs along the side of the property, there are spectacular views of surrounding small islands and beautiful, indigenous forestry and fascinating bird life. Gulu Private Resort offers all our guests a sumptuous gourmet breakfast, served on the deck overlooking Gulu River and plenty of bird life. From a buffet of fresh fruit, top-quality meats and cheeses, and a selection of gorgeous breads and pastries, guests move on to a cooked breakfast, washed down with fresh, hot coffee and refreshing fruit juices.

Later in the day, as the sun sets over the wide sweep of the Gulu River, guests gather for cocktails in the intimate quiet of the outside deck and bar, enjoying a peaceful moment and listening to the sound of the sea in the air and the call of the Fish Eagle.
