“Very Peaceful”
The bass fishing is not great, BUT Retha (the owner) took my husband to another dam to fish. The hosts were really helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return. The game and birds were such a pleasure - a truly great experience.

Hanlin Lodge is a birdwatching heaven, plus the atmosphere is very serene and relaxing. It's also right on the water.

“It is not a destination for winter”
We have been freezing. There were nothing to do at night and it was out of question to play a game of any sort in the sitting room as we had no way of warming the room. It was pleasant to see giraffes eating near the chalet. The staff was friendly but the owners were not very helpful. There were no brochures about what we could do in the area.
