HoneyPot B&B offers excellent 3-star B&B accommodation in Durban. It is positioned in Umhlanga, a sought after region of Durban.

“Honey Pot” offers a “home from home” holiday with hearty full English breakfasts, or, for those who prefer something lighter, continental fayre with fresh fruit, muesli and hot croissants, all served with steaming coffee.

The rooms have individual private entrances and patios, en suite bathrooms,air-con, colour TV with Mnet and satellite decoder, DVD/CD players, Wifi, coffee/tea-making facilities, microwave, ironing board and iron,telephones and fridges. Clean towels daily and there is a daily maid service. We also provide beach towels. Each room overlooks well-established pretty gardens where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and tranquility. We have two beautiful Irish Setter dogs, Chilli and Flame who are very friendly but not allowed in guest room areas. Guests arriving late in the evening or departing early in the morning are assisted by our Night Porter/Guard. Regrettably we cannot accommodate children under 12 years old, sorry.

There is a pool for your use and breakfasts are served in our breakfast room overlooking the pool “Honey Pot” provides a restful atmosphere where you can enjoy a sunbed around the pool and lovely gardens where you can sit and enjoy those warm South African evenings and eat the results of your Braai for which facilities are provided.

“Honey Pot ” is approx. 1 kilometre from both Umhlanga Village and the beach, only a few minutes walk, which provides safe bathing with lifeguard supervision. There are magnificent sea views from the front of “Honey Pot” which is situated in a quiet residential setting. Umhlanga is about 20 minutes by road north of Durban and nearby La Lucia and Gateway Malls provide an up market Shopping experience. Transfers to and from the airport, together with various day trips can be arranged with reputable local companies as can car hire with Avis & Budget. We can also offer business facilities to the traveling businessperson with computer, fax, word processing and E-mail facilities on site. There are telephones in every room for guest’s usage together with an additional socket to enable Internet connection if you bring your own PC. There is a laundry service and picnic baskets can be provided upon request. Children over 12 welcome.
