TravelGround User Reviews:“Ideal for a stay in Stellenbosch.”
The common area is beautifully decorated and it was a pity I didn't have time to use the crystal clear pool :-(nnThe colonial room where I stayed was great and looked out onto it's own little peaceful veranda.

“Beautiful accommodation, rooms are superb with every conceivable detail.”
Breakfast is average, very small hot portion and no variety.

“A worthwhile experience”
House of House is warm and welcoming, the deco is imaginative and inspiring. I would definately stay there again if in Stellenbosch and I would recommend it to others. The owners are very accommodating, and the accommodation is comfortable. The short-fall being that it is a difficult to find, I would not have found it without a GPS. But if compared to other guest houses, it offers more than you expect and is definately value for money. I was impressed.

Guestbook Reviews:The following reviews are from House of House's guestbook.
Enter House of House, the aptly named guest house of Jolene & John House; friendly, reasonably priced and willing to accommodate even Dr Gregory House and his quirks.Everywhere you look, there is something different and so modern – no Tretchikoff prints or Table Mountain watercolour landscapes adorn these walls. They are fun (kitchen graters turned lamp shades). They are alive (painted flames fanning the gas cylinders). My favourite part of House of House? The two adorable Great Danes – no guest house should be without a pet or two. Great Danes are named “great” for a reason: large yet regal, reserved yet friendly and oh so loyal.

Beautiful Setting. Excellent food, and the most gorgeous "children" (great danes). Certainly will be back.

I would just like to let you know that I had a wonderful stay at your guest house. Thanks also for considering my food preferences and not adding yoghurt to the breakfast fruit cocktail. The breakfast cappuccinos were also a great way to start the day. I will most definitely recommend House of House to any person (holiday or business) wishing to stay over in Stellenbosch.
