Dullstroom was founded in 1889 on this farm, Grootsuikerbochkop, which was owned by the family of J H H Janson, who was the Administrator of the Nederduits Hervormde Church. P J S Janson, his son was born in 1919 and after the war he became a full time farmer. After his death this rich cultural heritage was inherited by his daughter, J H Janson.

Your Hosts, Hanlie and her husband, Jan Bette, have built luxurious, self catering units and a cottage for the enjoyment of trout fisherman and nature lovers.

Jocks Cottage is a double storey cottage offering accommodation to six people. Joe's Place was originally the dairy and cow shed and has been converted into four self catering units, each sleeping two people. There is a private verandah with a beautiful view.
