Kelvin Cottage is a fun and quirky holiday home located in a small street of listed heritage houses. This restored 100-year-old cottage offers an urban sanctuary in the heart of Cape Town for independent travellers seeking private accommodation in the fabulous Gardens neighbourhood–steps from vibey Kloof Street, and a short drive from all the sights and attractions the city has to offer.

This tastefully furnished cottage sleeps 5 adults and 1 child. It comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a guest toilet, a kitchen and a living area. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and double vanity. Full air-conditioning and heating are available throughout the house, including bathrooms. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen downstairs is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, and cutlery and crockery. There’s also a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen counter makes the perfect breakfast nook and there’s a small dining table with chairs. The Afro-chic style-inspired living room has a double sleeper couch and a flat-screen TV.

There’s a high-speed fibre internet connection throughout the house and the terrace along the rear of the house has a braai area and outdoor seating. Street parking is available in front of the house.
