Loerie Guest Farm is tucked away in the Sabie River Valley amongst indigenous forests and set in pleasant garden surroundings with abundant bird life. Within a short drive of Loerie Guest Farm are the Numbi, Phabeni and Paul Kruger Gates of the world’s largest Game Reserve. The Blyde River Canyon, the third largest in the world, with magnificent views is half an hour away, also God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes - where the Blyde and Treur rivers meet, causing fascinating rock formations - and Pilgrims Rest, the restored gold rush town and home of Jock of the Bushveld.

Loerie Guest Farm is situated on a working Banana farm in the sub-tropical Sabie River valley with splendid mountain views, strategically situated 35kms east of Sabie and 17km west of the Kruger National Park, midway between the spectacular scenery of the great escarpment and the world-famous game lodges - a town on a crossroads, where six major roads, all leading to different tourist attractions meet.

Hazyview is not only tourism paradise, but also a thriving farming town in Mpumalanga, South Africa and is renowned for its banana industry but also the centre
for the farming of coffee, avocados, mangoes, lychees, macadamias and citrus fruits and many more.

The name is derived from the shimmering haze that occurs here during the heat of summer. Most of Mpumalanga's private game reserves are found just east of Hazyview Just a three-and-a-half hour drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Loerie Guest Farm is situated near Hazyview, the perfect stop to explore the world-famous Kruger National Park. Nearby the Panarama route including Sabie and Graskop with spectacular waterfalls, including the Macmac Falls, Forest Falls, Lisbon Falls and Lone Creek Falls, and also Pilgrim’s Rest - restored Gold Rush mining town and home of Jock of the Bushveld.

We have self-catering cottages, a rondavel, a twin room and a triple room. For groups of 6 up to 60 we have Dormitories. We have two large dormitories - with a ladies section and a men section. Self-catering or arrange meals - please specify prior to arrival.
