Description
Loerie's Rest Cabin is a charming wooden house nestled in a beautiful nature reserve in Ballots Bay, George, offering guests spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation in a forest overlooking the Outeniqua Mountains. Zebra, wildebeest, and ostriches are among the various animals freely wandering the reserve. This house is a perfect choice for those in search of a serene escape, whether with friends or family.
The house consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests at a time. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. These bedrooms share 2 bathrooms fitted with either a bath or a shower.
The kitchen is open-plan to the living area and is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area features a fireplace, a TV, and comfortable seating opening onto a balcony with ample outdoor seating, an outdoor dining table, day beds, and a braai area overlooking the forest.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, and covered secure parking are available to guests during their stay. This house does not experience loadshedding as it has an inverter. Fishing, game viewing, walking trails, and bird watching are a few activities the guests can enjoy.
