Mathakheni Village is an environmental friendly guest lodge, function venue and spa nestled in the farmlands of Lilyvale, Benoni, which has been awarded a 2 star grading by the Tourism and Grading Council of South Africa(TGCSA). The village is on a 5Ha plot and our organic vegetable and herb garden forms the basis of the business. The garden supplies fresh organic produce to both the kitchen and the spa.

Well appointed individual thatched rondavels, each with own garden grace the setting. Each rondavel has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. As we are engaged in a self sufficient, self sustainable and eco friendly path, the solar geyser supplies hot water for the rondavels.

We cater for both corporate and personal meetings, buffet lunches, book clubs, birthday parties etc for a maximum of 30 people in our thached lapa. The open garden is used for larger functions such as weddings (up to 250 people) in a marquee tent. Our meals are prepared using fresh ingredients and flavoured with herb grown in the garden.

Mathakheni Village Spa offers a variety of massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, body scrubs, body wraps etc. Most of our spa treatments are prepared with fresh natural ingredients such as fruits, yoghurt, oats etc. Our organic herb infused oils are used for massages to soothe, unwind and relax . . .
