Milkwood Lodge is surrounded by an indigenous garden and ancient listed Milkwood trees which are protected. A short walk would bring you to the famous Blue Flag accredited Grotto Beach and seafront cliff path from where you can spot the whales.

This huge property consists of a main house, a free standing cottage and a separate block of guest rooms as well as outbuildings.
Adjacent to the swimming pool is the separate building consisting of three rooms, each with its own private patio and separate entrance. The en-suite bathrooms have bath and walk-in shower. All rooms are equipped with TV, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, underfloor heating, fan, wallsafe, hairdryer and international plugs.
Room 1 situated next to the swimming pool has a kingsize bed which can be converted to twin beds on request.
Room 2 has a queen size bed as well as a twin bed. This room has a small fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, oven and hob.
Room 3 has twin beds and a third twin bed is available on request to convert it to a triple room.

In the main house there is :
An extremely large upstairs room with two double beds accessible via a private staircase (Two double beds - for family or two single persons traveling together) Bathroom has shower only. A small kitchenette is equipped with a microwave and fridge.
Downstairs is a double en-suite room with kingsize bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The private courtyard has a gate with direct access to the main garden.

There is a separate guest loo.
Lounge/dining room equipped with TV, DVD, lounge suite, dining table and chairs and two day beds (when required made up as twin beds for children.
The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster cutlery, crockery etc.
The comfortable patio overlooks the mountain.

The swimming pool is adjacent to a patio with barbeque facilities for guests to use and this has become extremely popular especially when people are well into their holidays and tired of eating out.Baskets with crockery/cutlery are provided for the rooms without kitchen facilities.
