The lodge is situated in the Heart of the Garden Route with many outdoor activities available. Here are just a view suggestions

Drench yourself at one of two bathing beaches within 10 Km from Mountain View Lodge – Victoria Bay and Herold's Bay.

Enjoy a ride to Oudsthoorn and experience Ostrich Farms, the world-renowned Cango Caves and the unique Cheetah Land. Alternatively drive to some of the most breath taking sites in Wilderness, Knysna, Plettenbergbay and Mossel Bay.

At night try your fortune at the Garden Route Casino in Mossel Bay, 30 minutes drive from the Lodge, or alternatively dine and wine at restaurants within the area (Some of them situated in a natural cave and only accessible by means of steam train) or catch the latest movie release at one of four cinemas in the City. Or do your shopping at the new Garden Route Mall.

From the CBD
From the main road in George (York Street) take Langenhoven Road leading towards Oudsthoorn, go past the traffic circle at the George Hospital and pass the Golf course on your left hand side, continue until you get to a traffic circle (Virgin Active on your left and an Engen Garage) on your right keep left at the circle and pass through the next circle into Witfontein Road and continue until you find a three way stop.

At this stop turn left into Wattle Road and take the second street to your right (Rooiels) we are situated at Nr 9 and the signage Mountain View Lodge is on the entrance wall.
