Old Beacon Hill

Only a 28 minute drive will take you to the heart of the Champagne Valley and its mountainous environment and all outdoor pursuits....hiking, horse riding, helicopters etc.

If its arts, crafts, food and wine you’re after, then a 20 minute drive will take you to Nottingham Road and all the Midlands Meander has to offer.

On the doorstep there are beautiful drives and walks where you can see the Bushman’s River in all its glory and the first of many historical Battlefield sites- Willow Grange is about 5km away with a scenic drive that takes you up into the hills.

You may want to visit a game reserve - the popular Weenen is only 25minutes away where you can see black and white rhino, giraffe, zebra amongst numerous other creatures.

A whole host of other activities such as health spa, golf (7 minutes away), fishing, birding, water sports are all very accessible from Old Beacon Hill.
