“Breathtaking view of table mountain”

Loved this place. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is clean and stylish. There is even a kitchen for cooking. My favourite thing about this hotel is the view of table mountain. Nice to wake up to. I will be staying here again in January and looking forward to it!

“Perfect start to honeymoon”

My husband had booked the Pepper Club for 3 nights to start off our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. We arrived early having landed at about 8am. Check in was not until the afternoon but our room was ready about 20 minutes after we arrived. The concierge brought our bags up to our room for us and our first impressions were just "wow"! We had booked a deluxe studio (which is the second up from the bottom in terms of room prices) and it was massive, basically like a junior suite. There was a lounge/living/kitchen area, a bedroom and en suite bathroom. We did find it odd that there was an oven/cooker etc but no cooking equipment, but we weren't there to cook so it didn't bother us! The bed was so comfortable and the views over Lion's Head were spectacular. I loved the free standing bath and the walk in shower was huge.

The hotel staff can't do enough for you. The concierges in particular were fantastic. I would suggest always asking them to book you a car - the hotel has its own fleet and their prices for eg. a journey to table mountain are much more reasonable than private hire firms (never hail a cab from the street here). For daytime journeys the cars have complimentary bottles of still water for you to take out for the day which was a lovely touch. The concierges will also make you dinner reservations etc etc and advise you on whether it's a good day to go up table mountain - definitely advice worth listening to!

The breakfast was lovely, nice range of fruit, cereals, cheese, hot buffet etc and the Sinatra's restaurant where it is served is really nicely done out. We didn't have dinner there so can't comment on that.

We didn't use the pool or spa but it's definitely worth at least a wander up to the balcony area where it's situated on an evening as it is just beautiful, you can see table mountain from there and it felt very luxurious.

We had dinner at the hotel's beach club on our last night. We were there at a quiet time so the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but the food was lovely (as it is everywhere we tried in Cape Town) and I can imagine it being a great atmosphere at a busier time. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the beach club throughout the day.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Pepper Club, I wish we could have stayed there longer as Cape Town is just fantastic.

“Spice Up Your Life In The City !”

We stayed at the Pepper Club from 23-25th Nov and it was wonderful. The hotel is situated within walking distance to Long Street , Green Market ,Company Gardens and several Museums and it has a courtesy bus that takes you to the V & A Waterfront and Camps Bay. This was a great perk and we used the bus on several occasions during our stay. The staff in the hotel were all friendly and helpful and there was complimentary use of the internet and a room to freshen up if you had a late departure. Our room was fabulous it was modern , bright and spacious and there was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink etc. However there was no cutlery or crockery so this is maybe something that could be considered. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday during this trip and there was a bottle of champagne and a lovely cake waiting for him on our arrival which was very thoughtful and enjoyed by both of us! Overall this is a beautiful modern and classy hotel in the centre of Cape town and we would recommend it and most definitely return again.
Important Note: Make sure to use your room safe as we heard of a guest who had his money and credit card stolen a few days before we arrived, as he just left it lying open in his room.

We experienced such happiness staying at this city centre hotel!!! Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful in every facet of the hotel. The bedroom was comfortably decorated, lovely toiletries in the bathroom and good cupboard space with a safe in our room. We had a gorgeous view of table mountain and felt safe and secure staying here. The free shuttle service to V&A Waterfront and Camps Bay was an added bonus and we actually had no need for our hire car for the two days we stayed. Highly recommended first class hotel with first class facilities! We did have breakfast which was fresh and tasty, but did not eat in at the hotel at other times of the day.

"Wedding night, pre wedding planning"

We planned to stay at Pepper Club after our wedding - which was held around the corner. I spoke to Fay from the start, from when I made enquiries straight through to the end! Fay arranged a car for the bride to transport her to the ceremony. Fay even went so far as to call me on a Friday night, 7:30 pm to make sure all our details and plans were in order as she was going on leave the week prior to our wedding !
When we came to the hotel to look at the suite we had booked for the evening, the duty manager offered us the penthouse suite, so we could take our wedding photos. At no extra charge!! Transport was arranged to transport the bridal party to and from the hotel. The photos came out fantastic !!!
The evening when we returned to our room, we were surprised with gifts from the hotel to celebrate our marriage. Next morning, a fantastic breakfast in the restaurant made me wish I didn’t have to leave. I was involved with security during the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer and have visited almost every hotel in Cape Town - and I can safely say that this is one of - if not the best in Cape Town. We had impeccable service, our room had fantastic views of Cape Town and the hotel staff provided us with great personal service. I will definitely be back for more !!

"Amazing Venue, Service & Atmosphere"

Thank you so much for the amazing voucher offer that we purchased from Wi Count a couple of months ago.
On Saturday night, my husband & I had dinner, wine & a movie at the Pepper Club and it was amazing!! What a beautiful venue, yummy food, and a very beautiful intimate cinema.

And all for an absolute steal at the price we paid, thank you for the offer.

THANK YOU to everyone who made our evening so special – Jimmy our great waiter, the manager who came to chat to us and the wonderful waiters who served us in the cinema. You have a wonderful recipe and hope to go again one day

"Great start to my weekend"

When I made the booking for Dinner at Sinatra's Restaurant, I had know idea what to expect.
When we arrived, we are shown through to the restaurant, the decor was just amazing! The waiter showed us to our table, and explained the menu in full. My wife and I enjoyed every moment of it, from the starter, main course, and dessert, to the movie after dinner. It was a perfect ending to a perfect night.
After the movie we chilled in the lounge area and enjoyed the best Chocochino I had in ages.;-))

The setting was brilliant, and the waiter ( Cosmos), was so helpful and friendly..

Just thought I would let you know that u guys are doing a great job.

Thanks again for the great start to my weekend.

Kind regards

Shamiel

“Will continue to go back....”
Johannesburg

We have stayed at the Pepper Club on various occassions and have always found the staff to be very friendly & helpful. The different room options make it so versatile whether you are staying alone or with family. The kitchenette is equipped with great appliances thus providing more flexibility during your stay. The decor througout the hotel is lavishly tasteful. Being situated centrally in Cape Town, it's easy to get to any part of the city and it's surrounds. The free shuttle to the V & A Waterfront as well as Camps Bay is a great add-on. The hotel also boasts another fine restaurant, as well as a first class night club, ideally situated in Camps Bay. We will continue to make the Pepper Club our hotel of choice whilst visiting Cape Town.

“Great Hotel”
A fantastic weekend in Cape Town, the only thing warmer than the weather, were the staff, from check in to check out, we were made to feel very welcome. The porters were very efficient and there was no request to big or small for the front desk staff.

"Wonderful Stay"

I would like to thank the entire pepper club staff for the most wonderful stay and experience I had this past weekend.
I honestly don’t know where to begin

The room (1201) you gave me was amazing; I wish I could live there
The level of service and customer satisfaction was excellent, and I will definitely be coming back again.

My girlfriend is now my Fiancé.
My entire setup for the proposal was heightened with the help of your maintenance (Abdul Nasr)
I must say he really went out of his way to help me in every aspect and provided additional assistance where he didn’t have to, not only on the day of the proposal but during my entire stay when he was on duty.
I truly and deeply appreciate that, as the standard of service he delivered was outstanding.
His efforts really stood out for me, and would like to mention that to you.
If you ever considered promoting him, you have my vote on that.

Other than that, Pepper club is a stunning 5star Hotel and an affordable rate, with awesome facilities and I can assure you I will be back, hopefully for a more that 2 nights.

Would also like to thank the reservationist Claudia personally for all the help and assistance yshe provided me over the phone and via email.

“Nice, clean and safe with an excellent restaurant”

We stayed at the Pepper Club 28 December - 2 January 2012. We travelled with a group and it was already decided where to stay - it was great. We had a suite with a living room, pantry, a big bathroom and a bedroom. A very big balcony, but without furniture. It would have been nice with a couple of chairs and a table. The hotel had shuttle service, it worked sometimes, sometimes not, we had to remind them. Taxi to Waterfront cost about 50 rand, very cheap. The shuttle took us to the beach, very nice but very cold water in the sea, rental of 2 sunbeds and one umbrella was 125 rands for a day. Changing rooms and towels were free for the guests of the hotel. Very good breakfast, we also had excellent food for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The only negative was the pool area. The water was dirty the first day we stayed there, and there were only three sunbeds, a very small pool area. Some noise from a disco nearby could be disturbing. Lots of nice restaurants on Long Street close to the hotel, safe walking.

“Sleek design”

Stayed here over the New Year period. Lovely hotel, very sleek and modern. Got an excellent rate on Agoda and a lovely room with huge balcony (1106) This floor seems to have the large walk-onto balconies with city views and of Lions Head. Reception was good and lovely decorated with a huge chandelier, very NYC feel. Sleek restaurant and bar with patio.....very nice for the location. Right in the city center between Loop and Long streets. Would stay here again.

I recently went to the Pepper clubs grease themed movie night. From the decor down to the food, the event was perfect. Every last detail had been thought of, to make sure that you felt like you where truly in the 50's, before entering the private theatre to view the movie. The night even ended with prizes for guest that were also fit the theme perfectly. It was a MUST do! and I will definetly be attending their next movie evening!!!!

monnilou - October 2010
Movie night at the pepper club is something I strongly suggest, what an incredible experience .The movie was grease and the night was themed in 1950’s style, from decor to food .We even enjoyed pop from glass bottles .An amazing amount of detail what put into everything, from what soup was released that year to the coke floats and popcorn that where handed to us as we walked into the most luxurious movie theater, and the waffles that where served to us during the enter vile. A night out that I would definitely recommend to anyone and to top it off there are prizes to be won. I have traveled round the world and rate the service at the hotel first class and one truly feel that they are being pampered. A Magical night!

Staying at the Pepper Club was a great experience it's safe and right next door to the famous Longstreet nightlife. You can walk safely from Hotel to lots of eating places, pubs etc. great vibe.

I had a wonderful experience visiting the hotel. The staff at Pepper Club went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. For the month of August, the hotel hosted a chick flick evening, which included tasty food, drinks, massages, live background music, and each woman was spoiled with a beautiful orchard. What a treat.
Bonus - even our parking was free. Thank you for a lovely experience! I will definitely attend the next one.

Really lovely hotel in Cape Town. Brand new, lovely rooms and spa. In the centre of town, but they have a shuttle to the V&A Waterfront and the beach club- so good location.
Parking available in hotel too. Breakfast was good

Pepper Club was a beautiful brand new hotel. We were upgraded and our suite was really fantastic. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms very very nice, and it had everything you could need. Great views from the balcony. The people were friendly. There were some kinks as its a new hotel but the staff tried to resolve them right away.

The included breakfast was also very delicious and convenient

Perry - June 2010
Right through from airport pickup to my final transfer back to the airport i was amazed, the rooms were clean, tidy and smart, not cluttered with furniture. There is a very contemporary feel to it and the decor is sophisticated. The food was prepared to high standards at all times and the staff were lovely, helpful and genuine. The location is great with good proximity to Long street and other recreational areas. The gym was well equipped and the pool on the top floor added a nice touch. It has breathtaking views of Cape Town and you won't be disappointed, would stay there again for sure!
