Description

Protea Cottage has a fully enclosed garden and is set on the mountainside of Pringle Bay, and whilst neighbours are close by it is a quiet location. The cottage offers beautiful mountain views and limited long distant sea views of Cape Point and Cape Town.

The cottage can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children
The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed. The second bedroom features a double bed and the third bedroom features 2 single beds. There is a back room with a double bed and a couch that can also be used. Guests are required to bring their own linen. Duvet inners, pillows and hand towels are provided as well as blankets for winter. There are 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and basin and the second bathroom has a bath and toilet. The cottage also features a hot and cold-water outdoor shower for after a day at the beach.

The cottage comprises a large indoor braai and an open-plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a Smeg oven and gas stove top, a microwave, as well as a dishwasher for guests' convenience. There is also a dining table and chairs in the kitchen and lounge area. There is a TV for watching live-streamed movies on our complimentary wifi using your own HDMI cable, this is (subject to any planned or unplanned situations that may occur that are out of our control and that we cannot accept responsibility for ).

The house is fully secured by clearview fencing, electric fence and beams. Treat security as you would anywhere else in SA. There is no off-street parking currently, cars to park on the road.

The deck comes equipped with a large umbrella and a table and chairs There are stairs to the garden and as such small children must be supervised at all times when on the deck.

Guests can relax in the garden which has a pergola and recliners. The beach is just 1.3 km away and the village, with shops and restaurants, is located 1.7 km away.

Pringle Bay is situated in the Kogelberg Biosphere - we actively encourage responsible tourism and respect for our local Baboon troop as well as all other fauna and flora.
