Driving Directions:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO
SUGARBUSH HILL COUNTRY COTTAGES
1. Leave Joburg either from Fourways area via Lanseria road or the R511 after
Diepsloot and travel to Hartbeespoort Dam.
2. At the 4 way intersection where the big African Market is situated you will take the
R27 (ie: Dam Doryn petrol station and café + the Spar will be on your right hand
side with the start of the market on your left hand side.) At this point set your
speedometer to read zero.
3. After you have traveled 5Km you will see a road off to the right to Brits. Ignore
this road and carry on traveling straight on the R27.
4. A further 23km on this road you will reach the settlement of Mooinooi. Again
ignore this and carry on straight.
5. You will pass a big metal water reservoir on your left and after coming down the
hill you will see a supermarket called Karani Brothers. If you need to do any
stocking up on food or forgotten items this is your last chance to do so.
6. From Mooinooi it is 8Km to the turn after Buffelspoort holiday resort. The turn
is situated at a 3 way stop and on the fence on the opposite left hand side of the
road you will see signs reading Sugarbush Hill/Omaramba / Sparkling Waters
Hotel and others. Turn left.
7. From this last turn to our turn will be aprox 12.9km.
8. When you go past Buffelspoort Dam please give us a ring so that we can go
ahead to meet you at your cottage.
9. After the dam you will pass Tree Tops farm stall on your left then Kloof waters
School and the turn for Maanhaarand at aprox 9.8Km.
10. You will pass through a very small cutting and the first Rietfontein sign with the
Sparkling Waters Hotel sign indicating a left turn. Ignore these and travel on
straight to the next Rietfontein sign and the Amble In signpost. There is also a
sign for Sugarbush Hill.
11. At this point turn RIGHT onto the dirt track in the same direction as the
Bishopstone Pet Hotel sign indicates.
12. Travel for 900m where on your left you will see the entrance for Sugarbush Hill.

Take buffelspoort oframp at stop turn left next T junction turn wright next T junction turn left(see our sign board) travel 13.9 km turn wright on sand road 700 metres on left green gate entrance.
