“Pure South African rustic experience....”
Just what a weekend away should be, quiet, rustic and being able to enjoy the beauty of the South African landscape. Whether we sat on our patio's and had a braai, or chilled at the pool with drinks or snuggled around the fire in the boma, it was the perfect family time. The 2 teenagers and 3 "tweeners" had a blast, playing fetch with the friendly dogs, climbing the koppies, swimming in the pool and enjoying the table tennis and darts. Fun was had by all, and Sun City is only 52Km away....

“Was a lovely place to stay!”
I would recommend Sugar Bush to anybody wanting a value-for-money getaway! It was very peaceful, and was in close proximity to many activities available in the area.

“Peaceful Getaway”
The overall experience of Sugarbush Hill was quite satisfactory! It has a nice quiet, relaxing atmosphere to it, exactely what we were looking for and needed.nThe only disappointment we that some of the facilities (e.g. tabletennis, darts, swimming pool, jacuzzi) were not completed in order to make use of them.nnThanks TravelGround for the convenience of being able to book and pay on line for our stay via cards!! :-)

“Pleasant, Quiet, Good value for money”
The Accommodation is in a nice location with a beautiful view. The houses are quite rustic but well equipped for self-catering. Our unit (Marula) was a bit dark and cold for winter-time but will definitely be nice in hotter weather. A huge verandah and 2 shaded parking bays are a nice touch. The service was friendly and always available when needed. The communal facilities (clubhouse, swimming pool, jacuzzi) are also great, even if we didn't use them. Only 1 minor niggle: The lighting in the house needs to be improved. The kitchen lights didn't work properly and the lounge lights were very dim. We'll definitely come again!

“The place is lovely but the electricity and noices were terrible.”
Two nights we were out of electricity from early the evenings till the next mornings and that was horrible! One of the vehicles next to my car, the alarm kept on going off during the night. Otherwise the place is lovely it was extremely clean when we arrived and the chalets is lovely!! I might recommend it to people with no children. There is nothing to do for the kids on rainy days and when the power is down.

“Peaceful Retreat”
Cosy cottage with a lovely view over the Magaliesberg. Perfect for relaxing next to a fire and soaking up the quiet.

“A great weekend getaway to rest”
The views of the mountain tops and bushveld were quietly inspiring. The cottage has all the baic comforts for relaxation. Access to the extended grounds for a walk was great - they may consider 'cutting' a definite path for walking into the hilltop. Decor is a bit 'hotch potch' - at little cost it could be harmonised more. The black sleeper couch detracts from the ambience.

“Good, clean accommodation in nice surrounding area. 20 mins from Rustenburg.”
Nice cottages, good location, felt secure. Cottages were spacious and clean and had great self catering facilities. Owners were very welcoming. Only draw back would be that it was winter (very cold) and the cottage had no heating although there was a fire place for which we had to provide/buy wood.
