The place is very nice and quiet. I would suggest if you can build a swimming pool since many people like to swim and would prefer to avoid going somewhere else to take a dip. Other than that, perfect!

“Thaba Lenaka is beautiful and relaxing!”
It was a fabulous weekend away from the city’s hassle and bustle. We had a beautiful view of the surrounding area from the veranda where we also had most of our meals. We spent most of our time relaxed on the veranda where there is a nice sitting area and table. Just chilling with a drink in the hand or entertaining ourselves with board games and conversation. It was a girl weekend only and we enormously enjoyed ourselves with no outside interference of any kind. The nature is close by and night noises is so relaxing that you just wish to sleep outside on the veranda. The only thing missing was a pool, but with Forever Resort only 8km away it was not a big inconvenience but would have been nice on those days that you do not want move from the lodge.

I could write a book on what a GREAT place this is!! I would recommend this place to everyone I know. From the decor to the atmosphere you feel relaxed and revitalised from the moment you get there. Its close enough to Pretoria and Johannesburg for a weekend away but it’s also far enough to feel like a holiday. The owners Marie and Peet are so helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for the awesome weekend. It was just what we needed :)
