From Cape Town drive towards Port Elizabeth on the N2 through places like George, Wildernis, and Knysna. Plettenberg Bay (“Plett“) is about 5 hours driving from Cape Town, about 90 minutes from George (airport) and about 40 minutes from Knysna. When you arrive in Plett DO NOT turn into Plettenberg Bay off the N2, although there are three or four signposts to Plettenberg Bay. Continue past Plettenberg Bay, past the polo grounds and golf course on the right, for about five or six kilometres. You will go over the Keurbooms Rivier bridge, and soon after it you will see signposts to “Keurboomsrivier“ and “Keurboomstrand“, opposite a little shop on the left called Thyme & Again. Take the second turning to “Keurboomstrand“. Follow the road around and take the first main turning on the right, also signposted to “Keurboomstrand“. There is a little shop on that corner, called “The Post House“. Approximately a mile from the turn off, past the caravan park on the right, (and after a sign to Abelone Beach House), on the left you will see a brown sign to The Beach House.
