Wayside Inn, Knysna

Wayside Inn is in Knysna Town centre, so a short walk will take you to any of the many shops and restaurants. There are many fine restaurants in Pledge Square itself.

The Lagoon and Knysna Quays Waterfront are only a 10 minute stroll away.

A 10-15 minute drive will take you to the Knysna Heads or to one of Knysna's golf couses.

On the way to Plettenberg bay you will find Knysna Elephant Park, 22 km away. Less than half an hour away you can vist the Craggs where there are many places to visit, such as Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, a snake park and craft centres.

Driver’s from Port Elizabeth:

Enter Knysna via the Main Road (N2). Continue on the main road, over 5 sets of traffic lights, the fifth being on Gray Street. Look for a Shell garage on your right, and immediately after Information Kiosk turn right into the Pledge Square. Drive through to the back of the square, past the Old Watermill, and turn left into the parking area directly in front of the Wayside Inn.

From Cape Town

Take N2 to Knysna. Drive over the White Bridge, and along the edge of the Knysna Lagoon. Enter Knysna via the Main Road, driving over one set of traffic lights. Drive past Fletcher, Short and Hospital Hill road. Look out for PostNet on your left. Just after PostNet take the left turning before Information Kiosk into the Pledge Square. Drive through to the back of the square, past the old Watermill,and turn left into the parking area directly in front of the Wayside Inn.
