Durban accommodation. The Berea is a ridge overlooking KwaZulu-Natal's capital city of Durban. From this northern suburb, the city centre and Indian Ocean create spectacular viewing. Some of Durban's oldest mansions were built in this once forested area, but today many of these have made way for apartment buildings or offices.
The main areas within Berea are Musgrave and upper Glenwood. Berea borders the orange-roofed Durban suburb of Morningside.
