The majestic estuary of Kabeljous meets the sea at a fabulous beach at South Africa's favourite surfing town of Jeffrey's Bay. The Kabeljous river mouth offers some fantastic surf and rock fishing as well as a 3km waterside trail that runs from the beautiful sandy beach into the Kabeljous Nature Reserve.

This pristine river mouth attracts a wide variety of water-birds making Kabeljous a fantastic region to visit when staying in Jeffrey's bay.
