Cape Town accommodation. The Artscape (Nico Theatre Centre) is Cape Town's premier theatre and entertainment venue. Events hosted regularly include dramas, operas, ballets and other musical productions. The complex contains stages ranging from the grand 1200 seater Opera House to an intimate 120 person theatre. Some of the larger foyers are on grand scale, featuring vast Italian crystal chandeliers and ornate tapestries. Besides the obvious option of attending one of Artscape's world-class productions, tours of the complex are also on offer.
