Durban accommodation. The Bergtheil Local History Museum is a national monument and the oldest building in Westville dating back to 1840. The massive stone walls and hand hewn yellow wood floor boards ooze with the history of the first German settlers that Jonas Bergtheil bought to Natal as the director of the Natal Cotton Company. The museum details their contribution to the area. There are also displays of Zulu, Muslim and Hindi artefacts and craft.
