Cape Town accommodation. Bloubergstrand (meaning 'blue mountain beach') offers a safe swimming environment and is well-known for its ability to support wind sports. Kite-surfing in particular is becoming quite popular. It is situated North of the Cape Town city centre, across the bay from table mountain, providing one of the most iconic views of the Table Mountain with Lion's Head and Devil's Peak standing sentinel to it on either side.
