Johannesburg accommodation. Home ground of the Gauteng Lions rugby team, this 60 000-seat stadium was build in 1982. It hosts regular matches and fixtures, and also features and Olympic-sized swimming pool, as well as a venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The stadium will host five round matches, a second-round match and a quarter final in the World Cup tournament. Ellis Park will seat 62 000 football fans, increasing its capacity by
almost nine percent from the previous 57 000. There will also be a line
of disabled-friendly seats on the east and south stands, with access
straight from the vomitorium.
