Port Elizabeth accommodation. Humewood is the heart of leisure activities in Port Elizabeth. The beach often has lifeguards on duty and is alive with water sports. There is even a tidal pool for the less adventurous swimmer.
While scuba diving is a favourite recreational activity, this windy area of coast is especially well suited to sailing. And sailors seem to be especially well suited to Algoa bay!
The main promenade runs behind the beach and has good protection from the wind. On weekend the area is a lively flea market and there are always restaurants and bars nearby - especially in the direction of the Museum Complex and Bayworld.
