Hoedspruit accommodation. At 620 square kilometers, Klaserie is South Africa's second largest private reserve, but it has only been accessible to tourist since 1995. Klaserie is actually a collection of smaller reserves that border on the Kruger National Park and the Olifants River, but the main focus here is the Klaserie River. In this dry region, the river acts as a magnet for wildlife in the area, drawing birds and mammals out into the open for splendid viewing opportunities.
