Welcome to the KwaBulawayo attraction page - in addition to guides like this article we also list a wide selection of hotels, B&B's, guesthouses and self-catering establishments. Please check out our Zululand page if you're looking for Zululand accommodation. With a prime view over the Mhlatuze Valley, the KwaBulawayo was once the stronghold of Shaka and the rulers of South Africa – the Zulus. Until the 1820's, this was the citadel where the rulers thrived, but little remains of this place today.

The hilltops here have few reminders of the buildings that once overlooked this landscape, but the feeling of power lost and a grand history can be felt here strongly.

We also offer a broad selection of South Africa accommodation - let us know where you would like to go!
