Welcome to the Museum Complex and Bayworld information page - in addition to guides like this post we also list a broad selection of hotels, B&B's, guesthouses and self-catering establishments. Please view our Port Elizabeth page if you're looking for
Port Elizabeth accommodation. Bayworld's performing dolphins are definitely the biggest attraction at the complex and one of the biggest attractions in Port Elizabeth.
The complex also features many other equally fascinating dispays including the Snake Park which has many species of snake and even some crocodiles, and Tropical House which displays various types of sea and forest birds in open enclosures. There is also a display dedicated to the Xhosa people.
The dolphins were all born in captivity and are not replaced when they die.
