Port Elizabeth accommodation. The main public library in Port Elizabeth was built in 1935. There is a prominent statue of Queen Victoria which stands proudly in front of the building terracotta façade imported from England. The façade was numbered and assembled piece by piece on location.
A true work of art is to be seen on the second floor of the building - the stained glass dome is a spectacle to behold.
