Plettenberg Bay accommodation. Located in the pristine coastal resort of South Africa’s famous Garden Route; Robberg Nature and Marine Reserve lies just 8km South of Plettenberg Bay. Visitors can walk numerous trails in this reserve, watch dolphins, seals and whales along the trail and enjoy other picturesque views.
Robberg Nature Reserve has a wide variety of flora and fauna. Visitors have a choice of three walking trails on the Robberg Peninsula. The most adventurous and difficult one is a spectacular round trip via the Point which takes around 4 hours. This route is not recommended for young children and people with health conditions and older visitors. For those less adventurous visitors, the other two walking options are equally as scenic, and well worth while.
The waters within the Robberg Marine Reserve are strictly managed. Boating, fishing, bait-collecting and spear-fishing are all prohibited here.
Visitors can experience rainfall between the months of August and November.
In addition to attraction guides TravelGround also has a wide selection of
South Africa accommodation. Take a look!
