Description
Wits University Donald Gordon Medical Centre is a private training hospital in Johannesburg, Gauteng. It is the first private teaching hospital in the country and aims to train and retrain specialists and sub-specialists. The centre was established in 2002 when Wits University bought the Kenridge Hospital with a founding donation from the Donald Gordon Foundation. In 2005, Mediclinic Private Hospital Group became a partner with Wits University and was also awarded the management contract.
GETTING THERE
The hospital is located at 21 Eton Road, Parktown in Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province. Elton road is off the M1 that runs past the East side of the hospital. Other nearby main roads are the M16 to the North of the hospital and the M5 to the West.
