"Quaint and interesting. The brewery, Forge and Marmalid Cat are good for food and refreshments. Outer Dirk Uys's Peron is very interesting and if you're a history buff then you could be caught up for a few hours. We were told the Bobotie is nice but never had the time and opportunity to sample it."
"Darling is a quiet, lovely town with quaint restaurants with a French Colonial style. The town people are very friendly and polite and service was great in all the places we visited while exploring Darling. Will highly recommend Serenity Cottage, especially for couples. Leigh was a great host and will definitely stay and visit again."

"A quiet and friendly dorpie. We visited Demonde Wine Farm for some tasting and shopping. Then moved on to Darling Brewery for the last drink. Now, that put a kick in everyone's step. We ended the weekend with a show at Evita's with a Sunday snack. Darling has everything you need. Not big, but enough to take up some hours of your day."
